I’M CARLOS LAO

I am a graphic designer and illustrator working in New York. I am currently an in-house designer and Production Coordinator at Marvel Entertainment. Here I collaborate with editorial to create cover designs, logos, and interior  layouts for titles like The Avengers, Star Wars, and Jessica Jones.

For almost twenty years, I’ve been working in the world of entertainment. Having started my career as a Junior Graphic Designer in the toy industry, I learned how to design retail packaging and board games. Eventually becoming Assistant Art Director, I continued my work there on licensed content for properties from companies such as Disney, Nickelodeon and Warner Bros.
